Chopin: Nocturne in B♭ minor, Op. 9 No. 1
“An excellent Bach Prelude and well thought & voiced Fugue. A very musical Chopin Nocturne with nice long phrasing, great sound & variable colours.”

“The Prelude's opening line was played with clarity, joyful sound, and you shaped the dynamics so well throughout the piece.”

Student Results
Real progress from Eric's students, in person and online.
After two years with Eric, her sight-reading has improved enormously: she now moves freely between keys across all kinds of pieces. She also has an excellent stage presence.
Started with private piano lessons, then added violin with Eric. She manages both instruments with excellent exam results.
Awarded a music scholarship and secured her school place after practising for the Music Aptitude Test with Eric through mock tests.
Huge improvement from his very first month. In just 10 months he has progressed from a pre-grade beginner to Grade 2–3 level.
One month before his Grade 8 violin exam, he was only about halfway ready. With Online Coaching, online lessons and Eric as his accompanist on the day, he passed with Merit.
Community · December 2025
Last December, Eric's students, from our youngest beginners to advanced players, took to the stage on a Steinway grand in front of a room full of families and friends. Every performer went home with a certificate, and the afternoon ended with food prepared by Cadenza London Music Academy, served with help from our students and volunteers.
We're planning a spring 2027 concert or competition. VIP list members hear first.
