About Eric
Eric Chung is a classically trained pianist and passionate educator with over 16 years of teaching experience. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp (Master of Music) 🇧🇪 and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in Classical Piano Performance, Eric brings deep musical knowledge and international training to every lesson.
Beyond teaching, Eric is an experienced accompanist for a wide range of instruments and choirs. At Cadenza London Music Academy, he offers a deeply personal and tailored approach — nurturing technique, musicality, and a lifelong love of music. Lessons can be conducted in English or Cantonese. 🗣️🇭🇰🇬🇧

Student Results
Eric's students consistently excel in examinations, competitions, and performances — a testament to the quality of tuition at Cadenza London.
Began lessons at age 7 with no prior experience. Achieved Grade 8 Distinction by 14 with a score of 142/150, one of the top results in London.
Adult beginner who joined Cadenza at 35. Within 4 years, achieved a Trinity Distinction and performed at a local charity concert.
Regional finalist in the London Young Musician competition, performing Ravel's Sonatine to a panel of professional adjudicators.
Gained entry into the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music after two years of preparation under Eric's mentorship.
Joined Cadenza as a hobby learner; discovered a deep passion for music theory and performance, earning a Merit in her theory exam.
Three siblings taking lessons simultaneously, each progressing at their own pace from Grade 1 through Grade 5 — all achieving Merit or above.

Book more, save more. Credit packages reward students who go above the standard 4 lessons per month — 7% off your 5th lesson and 10% off lessons 5 & 6 within a 4-week block.
Credit Packages
Credits reward students who book more frequently. Standard monthly pace (4 lessons / month) pays the normal rate. Credits only kick in when you go above that — rewarding commitment without reducing value.

Pay per lesson at the normal rate. Your regular slot is reserved each week. Book through Picktime as usual.
Intensive
5 lessons in 4 weeks — 7% off 5th
One extra lesson in 4 weeks — that 5th lesson is 7% off. Same level, same duration.
Accelerated
6 lessons in 4 weeks — 10% off 5th & 6th
Two extra lessons within 4 weeks — lessons 5 & 6 both at 10% off. Ideal for exam prep or intensive practice.
Worked Examples — Piano Intermediate (60 min · £55/lesson)
✦ Credits are level-locked — a Beginner credit cannot be used for an Intermediate session. Prices never drop below the per-lesson rate.

Can't make it to a lesson? Send Eric a video of your practice and receive a personal video response with detailed corrections, technique tips, and a tailored practice plan — all from the comfort of home.
